Monday. Foul weather, wind in the North, and exceeding cold. Reveille a torture indeed, now. Shivered my cap off this morning and was quilled for improper uniform. My sane wife greatly worried by the impending writs. He has been practicing different greetings to his parents for the last few days. My other wife has been sleeping with his math books under his pillow for some obscure reason. He says he has a theory. C. E. swimming is more of an ordeal than I expected. My other wife who has the swimming ability of a stone is also on C. E. and today by mistake he fell into the deep end. Very amusing it was to see him running around on the bottom leaping frantically for the surface.

Tuesday. I was evidently mistaken when I thought that just because I was on C. E. swimming I would not be put on C. E. gym . . . I am now on both. However, so is my other wife, if one could call that consolation. Tonight he was practicing front circles up on the alcove rail when he slipped. Now he is all flat on one end.

"I am now on both C. E. Swimming and Gym."

Wednesday. Colder. We had qualifying bouts in boxing today. As I bleed very easily I got a good grade. My other wife had to be three times thrown, scratching and screaming, back into the ring. Once he got as far as the door before we caught him. Snowing this evening, as if we did not suffer enough. My sane wife polished his F. D. hat tonight. He said you never can tell.

Thursday. My other wife invented a new way of shaving and was just stopped in the nick of time from trying it out. He had poured Wilson Cleaner over his face and was about to strike a match when my sane wife saw him. The area a pleasant sight. Firsties sliding about shrilling happily; yearlings throwing snowballs at plebes; even the cows were smiling.

Friday. We had the room in complete order this morning. It surprised the tac exceedingly. He just stood there with his pencil twitching and a look of baffled rage. Finally, he snarled, quilled us all for concealed articles and left. Wrestling today. We had qualifying bouts. I was so badly thrown I got up in four different directions.

Saturday. We have stood our first S. I. in a long time and stood it badly. Took my other wife to the library this afternoon, but as he was depressed by the sight of so many books we had to leave.

Sunday. Spent the morning reading my other wife the funnies and the afternoon sleeping, an excellent day.
