Buena Vista, Feb. 22‑23, 1847; in garrison at Ft. Mifflin, Pa., 1848‑49,

(First Lieut., 1st Artillery, Mar. 3, 1847 to Mar. 3, 1855) — Schuylkill Arsenal, Pa., 1849‑50, — and Ft. Mifflin, Pa., 1850; as (Captain, Staff — Com. of Subsistence, Sep. 27, 1850) Chief of Commissariat of the Department of New Mexico, July 19, 1851, to Aug. 27, 1855; and on sick leave of absence, 1855‑58.
