Military History. — Cadet at the Military Academy, July 1, 1841, to July 1, 1845, when he was graduated and promoted in the Army to

Bvt. Second Lieut., 5th Infantry, July 1, 1845.

While on his way to join the Army of Occupation in Texas, he was, by the falling of a spar on board the propeller Augusta,

Killed, Oct. 23, 1845, in Aransas Bay, Tex.: Aged 24.
