Served: in garrison at Ft. Columbus, N. Y. 1846‑47; in the War with

(Second Lieut., 4th Artillery, Feb. 16, 1847)

Mexico, 1847‑48, at Tampico, 1847‑48, and Puebla, 1848; in garrison at

(First Lieut., 4th Artillery, Sep. 13, 1847)

Ft. Wood, La., 1848‑49; on Commissary duty at New Orleans, La., 1849; in Florida Hostilities against the Seminole Indians, 1849‑50; and on frontier duty at Ft. Brown, Tex., 1850, — Quartermaster at Indianola Depot, Tex., 1851, — and Ft. Brown, Tex., 1851‑52, — Ringgold Barracks, Tex., 1852, — and Ft. Brown, Tex., 1852‑53.

Died, Nov. 25, 1853, at Sea: Aged 29.

Buried at Sea.
