Professor of Geography, History, and Ethics, Aug. 29 to Oct. 4, 1859; on frontier duty at Ft. Leavenworth, Kan., 1859‑60; on leave of absence, 1860; and on frontier duty at Ft. Brown, Tex., 1860‑61.
