and on frontier duty on Utah Expedition, 1858, — Ft. Leavenworth, Kan., 1858, — Ft. Washita, I. T., 1858, — Camp Cooper, Tex., 1859, — March to Ft. Smith, Ark., 1859, — Camp Cooper, Tex., 1859, — Expedition to Canadian River, 1859, — and Camp Cooper, Tex., 1859‑61.

Resigned, Feb. 27, 1861.

Joined in the Rebellion of 1861‑66 against the United States.​a
