Bvt. Second Lieut. of Infantry, July 1, 1858.

Served: in garrison at Newport Barracks, Ky., 1858‑59; and on

(Second Lieut., 6th Infantry, May 31, 1859)

frontier duty at Ft. Mojave, N. M., 1859, — and Ft. Yuma, Cal., 1859‑60.

Resigned, Aug. 20, 1860.

Civil History. — Farmer, Todd County, Ky., 1860‑61.

Died, Apr. 22, 1861, in Todd County, Ky.: Aged 26.
