Adjutant-General of Central District of Texas, May to Oct., 1866, — and at Galveston, Tex., Oct., 1866, to Jan., 1867; on leave of absence, Jan. 7 to Apr. 7, 1867; as Aide-de‑Camp to (Transferred to 4th Artillery, Aug. 19, 1867) 1868, at Headquarters, Department of Washington, to Aug. 30, 1867, p41and Second Military District, to July 3, 1868; in garrison at Ft. Delaware, Del., to Feb., 1869, — Ft. Wayne, Mich., to Feb., 1870, — Ft. Johnston, N. C., to Oct., 1870 (leave of absence, June 15 to July 31, 1870), — Ft. Washington, Md., to Feb., 1871, — and Ft. Whipple, Va., on Signal duty, to June 17, 1871; and on leave of absence, to Nov. 30, 1871. Resigned, Nov. 30, 1871. Civil History. — Counselor at Law, Detroit, Mich., 18—.
