Served on frontier duty at Austin, Tex., Oct., 1865, to June, 1866, — Houston, Tex., June to Aug., 1866, — Waco, Tex., Aug. 20, 1866, to May, (First Lieut., 6th Cavalry, July 1, 1866) 1867, — Austin, Tex., May 22 to Aug., 1867, — Buffalo Springs, Tex., to Nov. 19, 1867 (leave of absence to Apr. 12, 1868), — and Ft. Richardson, Tex., to Nov. 23, 1868; on Mounted Recruiting Service, at Carlisle Barracks, Pa., Dec. 25, 1868, to June 13, 1869; on leave of absence and joining company, to Aug., 1869; on frontier duty at Ft. Richardson, Tex., (Captain, 6th Cavalry, Sep. 10, 1869) to Jan., 1870, — Nacogdoches, Tex., to Feb. 25, 1870, — and Ft. Richardson, Tex., to Jan. 1, 1871 (leave of absence, Feb. 25 to July 16, 1870). Honorably Mustered out of Service, Jan. 1, 1871. p48 Civil History. — Unknown, nothing authentic having been received. Died, Aug. 16, 1880, at Crisfield, Md.: Aged 39.
