Military History. — Cadet at the Military Academy, July 1, 1864, to June 15, 1868, when he was graduated and promoted in the Army to

Second Lieut., 4th Artillery, June 15, 1868.

Served in garrison at Ft. McHenry, Md., Sep. 30, 1868, to June 11, 1871 (leave of absence, July 19, 1869, to June 29, 1870, Nov. 27, 1870, to May 7, 1871, and June 11, 1871, to Jan. 22, 1872).

Died, Jan. 22, 1872, at Bristol, Pa.: Aged 26.
