(Artillery School for Practice), May 1, 1874, to May 1, 1875, — Ft. McHenry, Md., May 31 to Dec. 27, 1875, — Special duty at Ft. Monroe, Va. (Artillery School for Practice), Dec. 27, 1875, to July 1, 1881, — and

(First Lieut., 2d Artillery, June 7, 1878)
