(Artillery School for Practice), Feb. 5, 1877, to May 1, 1878 (leave of absence, June 1 to Sep. 30, 1877); on delay, May 1 to June 6, 1878; and in garrison at Key West, Fla., June 6 to July 12, 1878, — Ft. Jefferson, Fla., July 12 to Nov. 7, 1878, — and Key West, Fla., Nov. 7, 1878, to June 8, 1879; as Professor of Military Science and Tactics at Brooks's High School, Cleveland, O., to Mar. 9, 1881; and on leave of absence, to Feb. 15, 1882. Resigned, Feb. 15, 1882. Civil History. — Unknown, nothing authentic having been received. Summer residence: Warren, Pa. Winter residence: Santa Barbara, Cal. Vol. VIII Military History: — 2d Lt. 5th Art., June 16, 1875. Resigned, Feb. 15, 1882. Died, Sept. 2, 1934, at Santa Barbara, Calif.: Aged 82. Buried, Oakland Cemetery, Warren, PA. |
