Second Lieut., 3rd Artillery, July 1, 1821. Served: on Ordnance duty, Oct. 1, 1821, to Aug. 20, 1822; and in garrison at Charleston harbor, S. C., 1822‑23, — Ft. Johnston, N. C., 1823‑25, — and Ft. Moultrie, S. C., 1825. Resigned, Oct. 10, 1825. Civil History. — Merchant, near Montgomery, Orange County, N. Y., 1825‑30, — and at New York city, 1830‑37. Died, Aug. 7, 1837, at New York city: Aged 38. |
