Served: At Fort McPherson, Ga., Sept., 1895, to Oct., 1896.

(Transferred to 24th Infantry, October 1, 1896)

— Garrison duty at Fort Douglas, Utah, to April 20, 1898. — At Tampa, Fla., to June, 1898, and in the campaign against Santiago, Cuba.

Killed July 1, 1898, in action at San Juan,
near Santiago de Cuba: Aged 27.

Buried, Hart Cemetery, Hart, MI.
