Died, Aug. 27, 1809, at New Orleans, La.: Aged 23.a

Thayer's Note:

a Not stated in the Register, but almost certainly from disease contracted in the hell that was Terre aux Boeufs: his blood is on the head of General Wilkinson (Ripley, Tarnished Warrior, pp253‑262, 264); he is one of the 127 dead recorded on p255.
