Professor of Geography, History, and Ethics, Aug. 30, 1826, to Dec. 19, 1829; as Judge Advocate of the Western Department, Jan. 7, 1830, to Sep. 26, 1831; and on leave of absence, 1831‑32. Resigned, June 30, 1832. Civil History. — Counselor at Law, St. Louis, Mo., 1832.
