Dec. 15, 1826, to June 14, 1828; and on Topographical duty, June 14, 1828, to Oct. 15, 1836.

Resigned, Dec. 31, 1836.

Civil History. — Civil Engineer, principally on Michigan Railroads, 1836‑76.

Died, Oct. 12, 1876, at Detroit, Mich.: Aged 73.
