Captain and Adjutant, Virginia Militia, 1827‑39. Farmer, near Shelbyville, Mo., 1839‑59. Colonel, Missouri Militia, 1841‑50. Asst. Engineer, Louisville, Ky., and Shelbyville, Mo., Railroad, 1850‑52. Principal of Bourbon, Ky., Female Institute, 1852‑57; and of Winchester, Ky., Female Collegiate Institute, 1857‑60. Farmer, Shelby County, Mo., 1866‑77. Died, Aug. 4, 1877, in Shelby Co., Mo.: Aged 69. |
