(First Lieut., 4th Infantry, Jan. 31, 1836)

1833, to Feb. 4, 1835; and in Operations in Cherokee Nation, 1835‑38.

Resigned, Feb. 28, 1838.

Civil History. — Planter, Pickens' Mills, Marengo County, Ala., 1838‑44, — and near Okolona, Chickasaw County, Mis., 1844‑46. Merchant, Memphis, Ten., 1866‑75.

Died, June 9, 1875, at Memphis, Ten.: Aged 66.
