Engineer of Baltimore, Md., Water Works, 1843‑46, and 1852. Captain, Maryland Militia, 1845‑50. Surveyor of Street Commissioners of Baltimore, Md., 1847‑51, — and of the City of Baltimore, Md., 1851 and 1853. Sutler to the 9th U. S. Infantry, 1854‑57.
