The rond-point midway down Monmouth Street: the original column and dials were erected here in 1694.

The column topped with 6 sundials that gave its name to it. The "seventh" is the column itself, which, after all, casts a shadow.

Each dial is different, of course:
they have to be, since they face in different directions.
