The receiving pool at the bottom of the waterfall thru the inside of the hill.

The twin pavilions of Vignola's aviary at the top of the hill; from here, a wonderful view North over the Forum onto the Basilica of Maxentius.

Stairway inside the hill down to the pool. Some of the structures, not visible here, are partly Roman, reused by the Renaissance architect.
