The Forum of Rusellae

This is downtown Rusellae. We are walking down the cardo — the basilica area in my main page is behind us — into the forum. The curving decumanus winds down the hill to the right past the white railings at the edge of the picture. Excavations are underway in the covered area to the left; a walk up the hill will take us to the amphitheatre.
