If this page is pretty meager, it's because I barely know the township of Monte S. Maria Tiberina: I walked thru it once a few years ago, and was driven thru it once a few weeks later. The town is small, so the parish church was closed; and although I've been to Lippiano, it was a quick pit-stop and I only saw the castle. There is also an interesting church in the frazione of Marcignano, and the abbey of Marzana is one more that I haven't yet seen.

So this page is really a sort of reminder to myself to go back and visit the area a bit more carefully; until I do, Fabio and Cinzia's site, linked below, will at least give you good pictures of Monte S. Maria Tiberina and Lippiano.
