My website features many photographs, mostly of architectural monuments and works of art in Europe. Yet these are — and will remain — only a small subset of all the pictures I actually took. It seems therefore useful to make available to the interested community a catalog of all of them: the same catalog I had to draw up anyway in order to construct my site.
Among the photographs, several hundred of Roman inscriptions, listed below in a chronological descriptive catalog. (Those few other inscriptions I photographed that are later than the 5c A.D., even when in Latin, are not included here: search the Photo Index for them.)
If the picture appears somewhere on this website, it will be linked to it. If not, you may e‑mail me to request temporary placement on the Web of those items you believe may be useful to you.
The quality of the photograph is shown in the second column.
