XCVII

Insidias nullas vereor de fraude latentis;
Nam deus attribuit nobis haec munera formae,
Quod me nemo movet, nisi qui prius ipse movetur.

Peck:

By snares, by lurking fraud I'm undeterred,
For god on me these gifts of form conferred,
That me no one can stir till he himself has stirred.

Ohl:

No snares I fear from lurking fraud; for a god has bestowed upon me this gift of form, that no one moves me, unless he himself first be moved.
