Putt-putt to Foligno, 10:02, just left. Tuesday I managed to see and photograph all the monuments that remained in the open doors program; I didn't eat anything all day — not hungry — and very suddenly, within the space of half an hour during the newscast at 8:30 P.M., became very ill — and have lost two days altogether. The first 12 hours, I had horrible chills and a splitting headache over the right eye — I'm still not completely over it.
