The island of Sardinia is bordered on the east by the Tyrrhenian sea, on the south by the African sea, on the west by the Sardinian sea, on the north by that sea which is between it and the island of Cyrnum.

a Bioea appears in the medieval manuscript map in the Dover edition, but must be a misreading for ΒΙΘΙΑ.
b The modern editor gives 30°10; but on plotting out the map, I found Juliola to jump along the coastline out of order; checking the medieval map, I found it plotted at 31°10, and have therefore made the correction.
