Served: in the War of 1812‑15 with Great Britain, on Lake Champlain,

(Third Lieut., Corps of Artillery,
on Reduction of Army, May 17, 1815)

1814, and on the Northern Frontier, 1814‑15; and in garrison at

(Second Lieut., Corps of Artillery, Oct. 1, 1816)

New York harbor, 1815‑18.

Resigned, Aug. 1, 1818.

Civil History. — Farmer, near Vincennes, Ind., 1818‑78. County Commissioner for Knox Co., Ind., 18–––. Major, Indiana Militia, 18–––.

Died, May 8, 1878, at Vincennes, Ind.: Aged 81.
