Military History. — Cadet at the Military Academy, July 1, 1838, to July 1, 1842, when he was graduated and promoted in the Army to

Bvt. Second Lieut., 5th Infantry, July 1, 1842.

Served: in garrison at Ft. Brady, Mich., 1842‑45, — and at Key West,

(Second Lieut., 8th Infantry, May 30, 1845)

Fla., 1845; and in Military Occupation of Texas, 1845.

Died, Sep. 26, 1845, at Corpus Christi, Tex.: Aged 24.
