Theodore Lincoln Chadbourne: Born Aug. 2, 1822, at Eastport, ME.​a

Military History. — Cadet at the Military Academy, Sep. 1, 1839, to July 1, 1843, when he was graduated and promoted in the Army to

Bvt. Second Lieut., 2d Infantry, July 1, 1843.

Served: in garrison at Ft. Niagara, N. Y., 1843‑45; in Military Occupation of Texas, 1845‑46; and in the War with Mexico, 1846, being engaged

(Second Lieut., 8th Infantry, Sep. 10, 1845)

in the Battle of Palo Alto, May 8, 1846, — and Battle of Resaca-de‑la‑Palma, where, after distinguishing himself at the head of his command, he was

Killed, May 9, 1846: Aged 23.

Buried, Hillside Cemetery, Eastport, ME.
