1846, being engaged in the Battle of Palo Alto, May 8, 1846, — and Battle of Resaca-de‑la‑Palma, May 9, 1846, — and Battle of Monterey, Sep. 21‑23, 1846.

Resigned, Dec. 31, 1846.​a

Civil History. — Clerk in the office of the Solicitor of the U. S. Treasury Department, Washington, D. C., 1849‑54.

Died, Sep., 1854, at Washington, D. C.: Aged 33.
