Served: in the War with Mexico, 1847‑48; in garrison at East Pascagoula, Mis., 1848; on frontier duty at Ft. Gibson, I. T., 1848‑49.

Died, Jan. 30, 1849, at Ft. Gibson, I. T.: Aged 23.

Buried, Fort Gibson National Cemetery, Fort Gibson, OK.
