(Second Lieut., 2d Infantry, Jan. 1, 1849)

at Ft. Towson, I. T., 1848‑49; and on frontier duty at Benicia, Cal., 1850.

Resigned, Aug. 31, 1850.

Civil History. — Merchant and Miner, near Mariposa, Cal., 1850‑53. Farmer, Austin, Tex., 1853‑55. History since 1855, unknown.
