Henry Harrison Walker: Born Oct. 15, 1832, Savannah, GA. Military History. — Cadet at the Military Academy, Jul. 1, 1849, to July 1, 1853, when he was graduated and promoted in the Army to Bvt. Second Lieut. of Infantry, July 1, 1853. Served: in garrison at Newport Barracks, Ky., 1853‑54; on frontier duty at Ft. Thorn, N. M., 1854, — Ft. Fillmore, N. M., 1854‑55, — Scouting, 1855, — March to Ft. Stanton, N. M., 1855, — and Ft. Fillmore, (Second Lieut., 6th Infantry, Mar. 3, 1855) N. M., 1855; in garrison at Jefferson Barracks, Mo., 1855‑57; as Aide- (First Lieut., 6th Infantry, May 1, 1857) de‑Camp to Governor Walker, of Kansas, May 1 to Aug. 3, 1857; in quelling Kansas Disturbances, 1857; as Aide-de‑Camp to Bvt. Brig.‑General Clarke, Aug. 3, 1857, to Nov. 22, 1860, at San Francisco, Cal.; on frontier duty at Ft. Churchill, Nev., 1860‑61. Resigned, May 3, 1861. Joined in the Rebellion of 1861‑66 against the United States.a Civil History. — Unknown, nothing authentic having been received. Vol. IV (Henry Harrison Walker) Civil History. — Dealer in Investment Securities. — Morristown, N. J. Vol. V Civil History. — Dealer in Investment Securities. — Residence, Morristown, N. J.
