Served: in garrison at Carlisle Barracks, Pa., 1856‑57; on frontier

(Second Lieut., 9th Infantry, Sep. 10, 1856)

duty at Ft. Simcoe, Wash., 1857‑59, — and Ft. Dalles, Or., 1859‑60; and on leave of absence, 1860‑61.

Resigned, May 9, 1861.

Died, Aug. 15, 1861, at Charlottesville, Va.: Aged 25.
