Born Sep. 18, 1835. Military History. — Cadet at the Military Academy, July 1, 1854, to July 1, 1860, when he was graduated and promoted in the Army to Bvt. Second Lieut. of Infantry, July 1, 1860. Served in garrison at Newport Barracks, Ky., 1860‑61. Joined in the Rebellion of 1861‑66 against the United States.a Civil History. — Unknown, nothing authentic having been received. Vol. IV Civil History. — Unknown. Vol. V Civil History. — Unknown. Vol. VI (Born Sept. 18, 1835.) Military History. — Brevet Second Lieut. of Infantry, July 1, 1860. Resigned, March 31, 1861. Civil History. — Since close of Civil War, resided continuously in Arkansas; taught school and was employed in the U. S. Internal Revenue Service; in later years was an inmate of the Confederate Home, Sweet Home, Pulaski County, Ark. Vol. VII Military History: — Brevet Second Lieut. of Infantry, July 1, 1860. Resigned, March 31, 1861. Died, July 20, 1921, at Little Rock, Ark.: Aged 85. Buried, Little Rock National Cemetery, Little Rock, AR. Portrait and obituary in Annual Report, Association of Graduates, for 1922. |
