Norfolk, (First Lieut., 3d Artillery, Dec. 31, 1822) Va., 1823‑24, — and Ft. Monroe, Va. (Artillery School for Practice), 1824‑26; on Ordnance duty, Mar. to Aug. 26, 1827; in garrison at Ft. Washington, Md., 1826‑27, — Ft. Sullivan, Me., 1827‑29, 1830, — Ft. Independence, Mas., 1830‑31; on Recruiting service, 1831‑32; in (Bvt. Captain, Dec. 1, 1832, For Faithful Service Ten Years in one Grade) garrison at Ft. Trumbull, Ct., 1832; and on Ordnance duty, Jan. 1, 1834, to Mar. 16, 1837. Died, Mar. 16, 1837, at Baton Rouge, La. |
