(First Lieut., 2d Artillery, June 11, 1864)

at Ft. McHenry, Md., July‑Aug., 1865, — and Presidio of San Francisco, Cal., Sep.‑Oct., 1865.

Served: on frontier duty at Ft. Stevens, Or., Oct. to Dec., 1865; on Recruiting service, Dec. 15, 1865, to Feb. 19, 1867; on frontier duty at Ft. Stevens, Or., Feb. 20, 1867, to Sep., 1868; in garrison at the Presidio, San Francisco, Cal., to Mar., 1869; and on frontier duty at Ft. Leavenworth, Kan., Mar.‑Apr., 1869, — Ft. Riley, Kan., to Sep., 1870 (leave of absence, Sep., 1870, to Mar. 7, 1871), — Ft. Stevens, Or., to Apr. 24, 1871, — and Sitka, Alas., to Jan. 21, 1873.
