Lyon, Col., Feb. to May, 1866; as Quartermaster, 1st Battalion, 18th Infantry, May 1 to Nov. 2, 1866; on frontier duty at Ft. Laramie, Dak., June, 1866 to Jan., 1867, — Ft. Philip Kearny, Dak., Jan. to June, 1867, — and Ft. McPherson, Neb., June to Oct., 1867; as Quartermaster, 18th Infantry, Feb. 25, 1867, to Aug. 18, 1868; on frontier duty at Ft. Fetterman, Dak., Nov. 4, 1867, to May, 1868, — Ft. D. A. Russell, Dak., May‑June, 1868, — Ft. Sedgwick, Dak., July to Sep., 1868, — and (Captain, 18th Infantry, July 11, 1868) Ft. D. A. Russell, Dak., to Apr. 1869; at headquarters, Department of (Unassigned, Apr. 26, 1869) the South, May 3 to June 5, 1869; on general Recruiting Service, June, 1869, to Feb. 13, 1871; on frontier duty at Camp Hualapai, Ara., Apr. 16, (Assigned to 3d Cavalry, Jan. 1, 1871) to Nov. 6, 1871; on leave of absence to Mar. 11, 1872; on frontier duty at Ft. D. A. Russell, Dak., to June 10, 1873; and on sick leave of absence, to May 17, 1876.
