Served: in garrison at Nashville, Ten., Oct. 2 to Dec. 20, 1865, — Augusta, Ga., Dec. 25, 1865, to Apr. 17, 1866, — and at Savannah, Ga., Apr. 18 to Aug. 28, 1866; as Quartermaster, 16th Infantry, Aug. 5, 1866, to Apr. 17, 1869; in garrison at Nashville, Ten., Sep. 4 to Oct. 29, 1866, — Savannah, Ga., Nov. 2, 1866, to Mar. 11, 1867, — Macon, Ga., May 13 to Nov., 1867, — Savannah, Ga., to May 21, 1868 (leave of absence and sick, to Oct. 5, 1868), — Atlanta, Ga., to July 11, 1869, — Tuscaloosa, (Transferred to 2d Infantry, Apr. 17, 1869) Ala., to Dec., 1870, — Montgomery, Ala., to Aug., 1871, — and Atlanta, Ga., to Jan., 1872; and in arrest, to Mar. 18, 1872. Cashiered, Mar. 18, 1872. Civil History. — Unknown, nothing authentic having been received. Died, Dec. 5, 1885, near St. Louis, Mo.: Aged 44. See Annual Association of Graduates, U. S. M.
