Served: in garrison at Nashville, Tenn., Oct.‑Nov., 1865; absent, sick, Nov. 12, 1865, to Feb. 3, 1866; in garrison at Augusta, Ga., Apr., 1866, to Jan., 1867, — Chattanooga, Ten., Jan. to Mar., 1867, — Humboldt, (Transferred to 25th Infantry, Sep. 21, 1866) Ten., Mar., 1867, to Nov., 1868; as Quartermaster, 25th Infantry, June 22, 1868, to Apr., 1869; in garrison, at Memphis, Ten., Nov., 1868, to Apr., 1869, — Atlanta, Ga., to Jan., 1870, — Barnet, Ga., to Jan., (Transferred to 18th Infantry, Apr. 26, 1869) 1871, — and Atlanta, Ga., to Dec. 11, 1872; on General Recruiting Service, to Oct. 12, 1874; in garrison at Atlanta, Ga., Oct. 15, 1874, to Aug. 25, 1876, — Edgefield, S. C., to Apr., 1877, — and Morganton, (Captain, 18th Infantry, June 30, 1877) N. C., to July, 1877; quelling Railroad Disturbances in Indiana, July to Nov., 1877; in garrison at Atlanta, Ga., Nov. 3, 1877, to Apr. 12, 1879; on frontier duty, Ft. Assinniboine, Mon., to Aug. 15, 1880; on leave and absent sick, to June 30, 1881; on Court Martial duty at St. Paul, Min., to Sep. 14, 1881; on frontier duty, Ft. Assinniboine, Mon. (Scouting, Mar., 1882, and on leave of absence, Sep. 14, 1883, to May 26, 1884), to May 9, 1885; and on sick leave of absence to June 15, 1887.
Retired from Active Service, June 15, 1887,
