Vol. VI (Charles George Eckhart, Born Dec. –––––, 1845.) Military History. — Second Lieut., 4th Artillery, June 17, 1867. Honorably Discharged, Sept. 1, 1870. Civil History. — Lawyer at Tuscola, Ill., since 1880; member of Republican State Committee; delegate to Republican National Conventions, 1884 and 1896; member of State Board of Pardons; Director First National Bank of Tuscola and of Tuscola Benefit and Building Association.
