Sullivan, Me., Mar. 23, 1869, to May 11, 1871; and on leave of absence, May 12 to Sep. 1, 1871. Resigned, Sep. 1, 1871. a Lt. Remak's birth data are from his AOG obituary. On his death certificate, his birthdate is given as July 20 of the same year.
