Ripley, Min., to May, 1869, — Indianola, Tex., to July, 1869, — (Unassigned, May 19, 1869) (Transferred to 4th Artillery, July 14, 1869) Helena, Tex., July, 1869, — and Livingston, Tex., to Feb. 17, 1870; on leave of absence, to May 2, 1870; in garrison at Ft. Macon, N. C., to Nov., 1872, — and the Presidio, San Francisco, Cal., to Mar. 29, 1873; and on Modoc Expedition, to Apr. 26, 1873, being engaged in the Action of the Lava Beds, Apr. 26, 1873, when he was
