Served: on frontier duty, at Camp McDowell, Ara., Jan. 27 to Oct. 28, 1869; and on leave of absence, to Dec. 8, 1869. Resigned, Dec. 8, 1869. Civil History. — Residence, New York city. Vol. IV Civil History. — Unknown, — residence, New York City. Vol. V Civil History. — Chairman Board of Aldermen, City of Newport, R. I., 1907 to 1908. — Residence, Newport, R. I. Vol. VI (Delancey Astor Kane, Born Aug. –––––, 1844.) Military History. — Second Lieut., 1st Cavalry, June 15, 1868. Resigned, Dec. 8, 1869. Civil History. — Studied law at Columbia and was admitted to the New York Bar; resided in Newport, R. I., and in New Rochelle, N. Y. Died, April 4, 1915, at New Rochelle, N. Y.: Aged 71. Obituary in Annual Report, Association of Graduates, for 1915. Buried, Island Cemetery, Newport, RI. |
