Served: on frontier duty at Omaha, Neb., Sep. 19, 1869, to Apr., 1870, — Camp Bingham, Neb., to Nov., 1870, — Omaha, Neb., to June, 1871, — Scouting, to Nov., 1871, — Sidney Barracks, Neb., to May, 1872, — Scouting, to Nov., 1872, — Omaha Barracks, Neb., to May, 1873, — and (Transferred to 9th Infantry, Mar. 17, 1873) on Yellowstone Expedition, to Oct., 1873; and on leave of absence, to Dec. 18, 1873. Resigned, Dec., 1873.º Civil History. — Drug business, New York city, since 18–––. Vol. IV Civil History. — Advertising Manager, Boston, Mas. Vol. V Civil History. — Engaged in manufacturing proprietary medicines in New York and Boston till his death. Died, Nov. 28, 1901, at Brooklyn, N. Y.: Aged 54.
