Edward Wright Brady: Born Dec. 2, 1846, Muncie, IN.a Military History. — Cadet at the Military Academy, July 1, 1865, to June 15, 1869, when he was graduated and promoted in the Army to Second Lieut., 6th Cavalry, June 15, 1869. Served: on frontier duty at Greenville, Tex., Oct. 20, 1869, to Apr., 1870, — and Ft. Richardson, Tex., to Dec. 29, 1870. Honorably Discharged, at his own Request, Dec. 29, 1870. p141 Civil History. — Editor of a Newspaper at Henderson, Tex., 18–––; and at Muncie, Ind., since 18–––. Vol. IV Civil History. — Unknown. Vol. V Civil History. — Editor at different times of the Muncie, Ind., Times, Washington Critic, The Capitol, The National Republican and The Hatchet, an illustrated humorous journal.
