(First Lieut., 1st Cavalry, Mar. 30, 1877)

to Sep. 3, 1877, — Ft. Walla Walla, Wash., Sep. 3, 1877, to Nov., 1878, — and Ft. Klamath, Or., Nov. 9, 1878, to Jan. 7, 1880; and on leave of absence, to Jan. 13, 1880.

Died, Jan. 13,​b 1880, at Canyonville, Or.: Aged 29.

The reader will notice that the date of his death is given as Jan. 12 on one, and Jan. 13 on the other.
