Russell, Wy., to May 17, 1872, — Sidney Barracks, Neb., to June 20, (Transferred to 9th Infantry, May 8, 1872) 1873, — Cheyenne Depot, Wy., to Aug. 9, 1873; at the Military Academy as Asst. Professor of Chemistry, Mineralogy, and Geology, Aug. 28, 1873, to Aug. 28, 1878; on frontier duty at Omaha, Neb., Sep. 23, 1878, to June 23, 1879, — Cheyenne Depot, Wy., to Aug. 6, 1879, — and Ft. Sidney, (First Lieut., 9th Infantry, June 22, 1879) Neb., to Oct. 15, 1879; on Signal duty at Ft. Whipple, Va., to Sep. 1, 1880, and in Signal Office, Washington, D. C., to Apr. 30, 1881; on frontier duty at Ft. Robinson, Neb., to June 15, 1882; on leave of absence, to Aug. 15, 1882; at the Military Academy as Asst. Professor of Chemistry, Mineralogy, and Geology, to Aug. 28, 1886; and on leave of absence, to Aug. 28, 1887. Resigned, Aug. 28, 1887.
